AMAZING PLACE
Amazing Place is an art festival, neighbourhood tour and scavenger hunt in East Scarborough’s KGO (Kingston-Galloway/Orton Park) neighbourhood. Guests were invited to visit each partner site, enjoy art activities and performances, and participate in a scavenger hunt. The project carries on the legacy of East Scarborough Storefront’s project Amazing Place.
Amazing Place is a three-year initiative (2022, 2023, 2024) that showcases and highlights neighbourhood assets, animates local public spaces in an inviting and exciting way, shares a love of art and performance, and connects different resident groups, businesses and organization through a collaborative artistic endeavour.
