Community Arts  Guild needs help capturing  INTERLACING stories.
Student will have the opportunity to learn about Scarborough’s history from the perspective of community members, and witness to the post-programming practices used in performance-based organizations.

INTERLACING is a textile -based project, formerly part of Cultural Hotspot and Nuit Blanche Scarborough. Participants of this project wrote stories on pieces of fabric and then were invited to weave their stories into a large-scale loom.

Two Main Duties: 
1) transferring written stories into digital format
2) taking pictures of Interlacing’s fabric tags


Additional Information:

Volunteer hours will take place at Cedar Ridge Creative Centre, 225 Confederation Drive, Scarborough, ON

Required work days are Tuesdays or Wednesdays, any length of time between 9am and 5pm (Flexible)

Must be comfortable working with a computer and enjoy working independently.
