Thank you to all the people who came out to contribute to our evolving installation for Outside In. We finished up the gallery show with a closing party and lantern parade on the grounds of Cedar Ridge Creative Centre.
Over the course of 10 days:
320+ people visited the show and joined in activities
36 artists, staff and volunteers helped make it happen
15 partner organizations and funders joined in and contributed
40 people of many different ages got up on stilts!
Together we partied, shared stories, made paper, built lanterns, performed a new musical, held campfires, walked on stilts, danced outside, made music, wrote poetry, did art interventions of all kinds in the garden and captured them on a map of the site, went on a First Story walking tour, paraded with lanterns, ate, talked, sang and more.
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who was part of this experience. It has launched us into preparations for a new community play outdoors at Cedar Ridge with energy and enthusiasm.
