The Gardeners
Jasmine’s first garden memory is her 9-year-old self gardening peanuts and carrots in Jamaica. Her all-time favorite herb is the “oh so potent” thyme. After she moved to Canada, she disconnected from her love of gardening. However, when she moved into her house with a run-down garden, she decided to start gardening again and planted sunflowers and perennials. Once the pandemic began, she saw an opportunity to learn more about gardening and joined the Scarborough Village Community Garden. Jasmine loves to be around people and has been thoroughly enjoying her time with the other community gardeners.
